Mentoring programs are available in our divisions offered through Comprehensive Therapeutics. This offers professional staff the ability to change career paths, gain expertise and remain current in specific areas of rehabilitation service delivery. They provide peer support, stronger self-esteem and networking opportunities with other therapists.

The pediatric school-based mentorship program at Comprehensive Therapeutics provides therapists the knowledge and skills required to effectively meet a child's needs in the education setting. In our unique “ABC's of School Based Therapy” program, therapists learn:

• To transition from the medical to educational model of school practice
• School Terminology and Procedures
• How to determine eligibility for treatment
• Treatment planning and implementation within the educational setting
• Administering the correct tests/evaluations and interpreting results.
• Consultation skills as a service and a process.
• To understand normal and abnormal child development and treatment principals.
• To participate in multidisciplinary conferences and effectively represent a child's needs and a parent's concern
